Gerd Lovold started life in the north of Norway in 1941. Prior to settling in the UK in 1972, Gerd lived, studied and worked in the US and Australia. Her expression of life and movement commenced in 1986 and since then has developed into an inspiring and contemplative range of works in ceramic, cold-cast resin bronze, bronze and stone.
Ongoing themed exhibitions have attracted the attention of organisations such as Bonhams, The Contemporary Art Gallery and The Sculpture Agency. Selected works have also been shown at The Alwin Sculpture Gallery, The Kings Gallery in London and The Harbour Gallery in Whitstable. Currently Gerd’s sculptures are exhibited at Lilford Gallery in Canterbury and Francis Iles Galleries in Rochester.
